Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated 4 October 2026
The short version
- Al Hayat Solutions is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
- We prepare and plan with you; we cannot guarantee any visa, admission, scholarship, grant, funding, job, event place or other decision made by someone else.
- You give us true information, and you sign and submit government forms and applications yourself.
- Some documents are first drafted by AI from the facts you give us. You read and confirm every one before you use it.
- You can cancel at any time in writing. Fees for work already completed are not refundable.
- Employers, job sites, funders, event organizers and payment providers are separate businesses with their own terms.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Al Hayat Solutions ("Al Hayat", "we", "us"), 3994 White Plains Rd, Bronx, NY 10466. They apply when you use alhayatsolutions.com, the client portal, the Al Hayat Jobs board or any of our services. By using them, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Many engagements also have a written proposal that sets out deliverables, timeline, exclusions and fees. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal applies to that engagement. Work outside the agreed scope is agreed separately, in writing, before it begins.
2. Our services and their limits
The site has six menu items: Careers, Pathways, Global, Business, Free tools and About. Our services are:
- Careers (open to everyone): a job search over listings from employers who post with us and from outside sources; free tools (a private resume check, interview practice, "who can sponsor me" route lists); tailored resumes and cover letters (see section 8); and employer job posts (section 10). You apply to employers yourself; we do not contact employers or submit applications for you, except that a job posted on our own board can take your application and send it to that employer when you press apply.
- Pathways (for people outside the West looking for a way to study or work in the West): scholarships and visa-sponsored jobs. We publish information from official and public sources, each record showing its source and the date we last checked it; we match your facts to those records and say honestly how well they fit; and, once your space is open, we help prepare your application documents (section 8). We do not file visas, we do not apply for you, and the final decision is always the funder's, the employer's or the government's. Your Pathways space opens with an access code or an invitation from us (section 6).
- Global (events, programs and travel grants for business people): information about real events, programs, fellowships, accelerators and travel grants, matched to the facts you give us; help preparing the statements and answers they ask for; and a "Pitch Studio" founder card with an optional private link that expires. We never submit, pay for or accept anything for you, and we never write or sell an invitation letter: only the organizer can invite you. Your Global space opens with an access code or an invitation (section 6).
- Business: websites made by our Studio (a free private preview, then a build and optional monthly care), a supplier check ("Before you wire") and funding help. See section 11.
- Free tools and Ask Al Hayat, an automated assistant that answers general questions from our website pages. Its answers are general information only.
- Visa document readiness (when a member of our team adds it to your Pathways or Global space): document readiness and clerical preparation of forms from the information you give us, as limited in section 4.
- Al Hayat Jobs board: job listings from employers who post with us and from outside job sources.
3. No guarantees
We work carefully and honestly, but we cannot and do not guarantee any outcome that depends on someone else, including visas, entry permits, admissions, scholarships, grants, loans and other funding, event acceptance, job interviews or job offers. Those decisions belong to governments, embassies, institutions, funders, organizers and employers. Processing times, prices, deadlines, availability and requirements set by third parties can change without notice. A match, a "fit" word or a checklist on our site is information to help you decide; it is never a promise, a percentage chance or a prediction.
4. Not a law firm: immigration assistance limits
Al Hayat Solutions is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are not attorneys and are not accredited representatives, and we cannot represent you before any immigration authority.
- We do not choose your visa category, tell you whether you qualify or predict the outcome. You, or your lawyer, choose the category.
- Our immigration-related help is limited to document readiness and clerical preparation of forms using the information you give us. When our checks are done, we can say only that your documents appear complete and consistent.
- For the United Kingdom and Canada we check document readiness only and, with your consent, hand you off to a licensed partner (an OISC-regulated adviser or a licensed RCIC).
- Where legal judgement is needed, we refer you to a licensed attorney.
- We take no fee or commission from a lawyer or partner we refer you to.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us information and documents that are true, complete and your own, and tell us promptly when something changes.
- Review every document we prepare, or that our tools generate, before you use it. You are responsible for what you submit.
- You complete and submit government forms and applications yourself: you sign in to government and funder websites, answer the sensitive questions personally, sign, pay the fees and submit. We never submit forms for you and we never ask for your government-website passwords.
- Please do not send photos of your passport or ID, or their numbers, in a message, in WhatsApp or in the assistant. We will tell you exactly what we need and where to send it safely; in the portal a document is requested only when a member of our team asks for that specific document.
- Check the entry requirements of any country you plan to travel to; they are set by that country, not by us.
6. Accounts and access codes
You must be 18 or over to open an account. Keep access to your email, your passkey and any password secure; you are responsible for activity in your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
Access codes. Careers and Business are open to everyone. A Pathways or Global space can be opened the first time only with a valid access code or an invitation from us. A code works once and is tied to the service it was issued for; a code for one service never opens the other. We do not say whether a code you typed exists.
7. Payments, deposits, credits and refunds
Prices are shown in US dollars and set by us; online payments are processed by Square on its secure checkout page. If online payment is unavailable, we send an invoice instead.
- Business, Studio websites: the preview is free and you owe nothing for it. If you approve it, a Simple site is $649: $325 to start after you approve the preview and $324 when it is live on your domain. Founding price: the first ten Simple sites approved before 31 March 2027 are $499; after the tenth, or after that date, the price is $649. The count and the days left are shown on our pages and are the same for every visitor; we update the count ourselves each time a site is approved. After the first ten we will publish our measured build time; the standard price can go down, not up. Larger sites (Standard, Advanced, Custom) and add-ons are priced in a written quote before you pay. Monthly care is optional. Hold is $19 a month (site online, uptime checks, backups and applicable security updates). Keep is $89 (Hold plus 3 small changes a month and a named contact in your language). Grow is $149 (Hold plus 8 small changes and 1 page change a month, with a named contact). Run is $249 and Platform is $399 (Hold plus unlimited eligible small changes and page changes, with a named contact). A small change is one limited update to existing content, such as one text item, price, business-hours entry, phone number or photo. A page change is one defined change to an existing page, such as a new section, a restyled page or an updated price table. New pages, custom functions, integrations and substantial redesigns are quoted separately, and we explain how a request is classified and obtain your approval before any chargeable work begins. Unlimited means no fixed monthly numerical limit on eligible requests; they are handled in order, subject to reasonable scheduling and technical feasibility. Eligible changes beyond your plan’s allowance cost $20 (small) or $45 (page). Monthly allowances reset with each billing period; unused changes expire at its end and do not carry forward or convert to cash or credit. Google Business Profile setup ($99) and SEO and AI-ready page work ($149) are optional one-time services and do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or AI mentions. Your quote applies if it differs. You may cancel any time, effective at the end of the current paid month. You keep your domain, your text and the photos you own or may lawfully use; third-party software and services stay under their own licences.
- Supplier check and funding help: the first look is free. A full supplier check, or any funding help after the first look, is by quote, and you are told the price before you pay. We never hold money for a supplier and we do not lend, broker or take a share of any money you receive.
- Tailoring packs ($9, $12, $29 and $40) are paid in full at checkout and give you credits in your portal. Each tailored resume, or resume and cover letter, uses one credit. A credit is used, and is not refundable, once its document has been generated. For unused credits, contact us.
- Pathways and Global: priced by written quote after an access code; no price is published on the site.
- Job posts: Standard $99 and Featured $199, each for 30 days; an employer's first Standard post is free.
Cancellations and refunds. You may cancel an engagement at any time by telling your adviser in writing. Fees for work already completed are not refundable; any deposit for work not yet started is handled as set out in your written proposal. Where the law gives you additional cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply.
Our pages carry three plain lines under every price: "Full refund until your adviser starts your file; you are told when that happens." "If we cannot do the work, you get your money back." "Questions before you pay are free." These lines are part of the offer; where they differ from the paragraph above, the plain lines apply to the service they sit under.
8. Career tools and AI-assisted documents
We use AI models run on Cloudflare Workers AI to write first drafts. This section covers Careers documents and the documents prepared in Pathways and Global (a resume, a cover letter, an essay or statement, a founder bio or pitch).
- Instant tailoring creates a resume or cover letter immediately, without review by our staff, using only facts found in the resume you provide or that you confirm. Automatic checks remove any employer, title, skill, number or claim that is not in those facts, and a draft that fails the checks is not shown to you.
- Pathways and Global documents are drafted only after you agree to AI drafting (you can decline: our team then prepares the documents by hand). They use the facts you gave us in your intake and, where our team has verified a fact, they say so. If you have chosen to have an adviser review first, our team approves each document before you read it.
- You must read every draft and confirm it ("I have read this and every statement is true") before you use or send it. Do not use our tools to misstate your experience or qualifications. A document that is an AI-assisted draft is labelled as one in your portal.
- Some funders and organizers do not allow AI-written essays or paid application help. Where we know a funder's rule, we show it. For a funder that does not allow paid application help we prepare no documents at all.
- "Polished by [first name]". A member of our team may edit a document and mark that version as polished by them; the client then sees that first name. The mark applies only to the exact text they approved, and it disappears if a word changes. It does not mean the document is guaranteed accurate, approved by an employer or funder, or free of AI-assisted drafting.
- The contact details you add in Settings (phone, city, country and up to three web links) are printed on the documents you download. They are never sent to the AI.
- Match scores and "fit" words are automated estimates. They are never shared with employers.
- We do not promise that any document will pass, or avoid, an AI-detection tool.
9. Job listings, our automatic check and our listing policy
Many listings on our site come from outside job sites and company career boards and are labelled "Listed on [source]". We do not write or endorse those listings, and we are not the employer or the recruiter.
Our automatic check. Every listing is read by an automatic check before it appears. A listing that passes shows "Checked by Al Hayat" with one line saying which checks ran, for example our listing policy, scam warning signs, requests for money, an employer name, a company website, an address or phone number. We did not check who the employer really is, and the mark is not a promise. A listing without the mark has not been through the check, or was held back and then published by a person. A listing that asks for money, promises a job or a visa, asks for ID or bank details, or breaks our listing policy is never shown.
Our listing policy. Listings and posts about alcohol, gambling, interest-based finance, pork, adult entertainment, and tobacco and cannabis are not shown, whatever search settings a visitor uses; there is no setting to turn this off. Listings are screened automatically, so a legitimate listing may occasionally be missed or held; tell us if one was.
Reports. You can report a job we got wrong; the report is feedback to our team, and we may remove or hold a listing because of it.
We cannot guarantee that a listing is accurate, current or still open. When you apply on an outside website, that website's terms and privacy policy apply. Be careful of any listing that asks you to pay a fee or to share bank details; never pay anyone for a job or a visa.
Visa sponsorship wording. Where a listing says it offers visa sponsorship or relocation help, we show that as what the employer wrote, or as an entry on a public sponsor register with the date we last read it. It is not a promise to you; ask the employer about your own case.
10. Rules for employers
- Post only real, open positions that you are authorised to fill, with accurate pay and location information.
- Give a real company website, a phone number and a street address; a post without them may wait for a person to read it.
- Job posts must not involve alcohol, gambling, interest-based finance, pork, adult entertainment or tobacco and cannabis.
- Job posts must not discriminate by religion, sex, race, age, disability or any other characteristic protected by law. Religious requirements are allowed only for religious roles posted by a religious organisation we have verified.
- Every post is reviewed by us before publication. We may reject or remove any post, and may suspend an employer account that breaks these rules. If a paid post is rejected, contact us.
- Use applicants' information only to consider them for the position they applied to, and keep it secure and in line with the law.
- If you import posts from Lever or Greenhouse, you confirm you are entitled to publish them.
- If you tick "we offer visa sponsorship" on a post, you confirm it is true. We show it as your own statement.
11. Business services: Studio websites and previews, the supplier check and funding help
- Studio previews. A preview is a private page that shows how a website for a business could look, made from the business's own public details (and only what we or the owner typed: no invented services, hours, photos or reviews). It is marked "Preview made for [name]: not live", is not listed in search results, expires after 30 days and costs nothing. You owe nothing for a preview and you are under no obligation to reply.
- Messages about a preview. If we contact a business about a preview, the message says who we are, says it is an advertisement, gives our postal address and tells you how to stop messages: reply STOP and we will stop within 10 business days.
- Studio builds. After you approve a preview and pay as set out in section 7, we build and publish the site. You keep your domain, your text and your photos. Ownership of the finished work is set out in your written quote. Care plans are monthly and can be cancelled any month.
- Supplier check ("Before you wire"). The first look is free. It tells you what is publicly visible about a supplier and what to ask before you pay. A full written check is by quote. Neither is an investigation, a verdict or a guarantee. We look only at public information, we do not contact the supplier unless you ask us to, we do not pay anyone for you, and we take no commission from the supplier or from anyone else.
- Funding help. The first look is free and shows what kinds of funding usually fit a business. Most funding is a loan; grants are competitive. We are not a lender or a broker, we never hold your money, we never promise funding and we take no share of money you receive. Anything after the first look is by quote. A funding "alert" (a WhatsApp message when a program that fits opens or changes) is by quote and is a message, not a promise that you will qualify.
- WhatsApp. Questions before you pay are free. A person answers on WhatsApp; the assistant does not.
12. Acceptable use
Do not: give false information or impersonate anyone; upload documents you have no right to use; post fake or misleading jobs; try to access other people's accounts or data; scrape, overload or attack the site; collect or copy preview or Pitch Studio links that were not sent to you; bypass rate limits or security; or use our services for anything unlawful. We may block access that breaks these rules.
13. Intellectual property
The website, its design, text, software and the Al Hayat name and logo belong to Al Hayat Solutions or its licensors. You keep ownership of the content you give us and allow us to use it to provide the services. Documents we prepare for you are yours to use for your own purposes once paid for. Studio ownership terms are set out in your written quote. Photos and third-party listings remain the property of their owners.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Except as stated in these terms or your proposal, our services and website are provided "as is". We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, prices or policies of governments, funders, event organizers, employers, job sites, payment providers or other third parties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Any dispute that we cannot resolve will be decided by the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have where you live.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services or the law change, and will change the "Last updated" date above. Changes do not affect orders already paid for under the earlier terms. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email or in the portal.
